Staff Profiles

Owner of Chandos Grant LLC, David Grant is an enrolled agent (E.A) and Certified Tax Representation Consultant (C.T.R.C). As an EA David is a federally-authorized tax practitioner who has technical expertise in the field of taxation and who is empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels—examination, collection, and appeals—of the Internal Revenue Service. As a CTRC David possesses specialized knowledge in five areas of tax representation that is IRS Examinations, IRS Collections, Offers-in-Compromise, Resolving Payroll Tax issues and Innocent Spouse which are all highly valued by taxpayers.

David brings over 18 years of tax experience working for such companies as H&R Block, Marcum and RS Abrams LLP where he led external audits and prepared financial statements for nonprofits, school districts, libraries and municipalities.

As President of Chandos Grant LLC, David develops strategies for handling matters with both individuals and businesses with the IRS. In this capacity, he works to reach satisfactory agreements regarding plans, payments, estimations, and settlements.

He is a graduate of Baruch College in New York with a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and a member of the National Society of Tax Professionals. In 2017 David was awarded a citation by the Borough President of Brooklyn by promoting excellence and providing outstanding services and support to local residents and those in need.
